Small Groups

A missional community is a group of people who are making the effort to live in authentic relationships with the mission of sharing and demonstrating the gospel to others.  Our missional communities are designed to equip believers for action.  We love to study God's perfect Word.  We seek to understand it and apply it to our lives.  It is true that hearing and studying God's Word produces real faith.  However, we believe that real faith produces real action. Our groups are not about endlessly gaining information.  Instead, our groups are about transformation.  They are about the supernatural transformation of our own lives, the lives of the people we know, and the community we love.

Our hope is that as we learn to live in missional community the gospel will multiply through our community and transform Gilmer forever.  These communities are for all ages and provide biblical inter-generational discipleship just as God intended.  These communities provide pastoral care, sharpening and comforting relationships, and gospel-driven apprenticeship in the faith.  There is a place for every individual and every family.
